I've started blogs a few times and quite frankly never launched them.
I've been a writer since middle school, and then I went on to get a
journalism degree (I did not use). I got a corporate job and eventually
my writing came back in the form of proposals and marketing materials.
And I'm good at that stuff--it comes easy. But there's nothing more
satisfying than getting the words in your own head out on the screen!
After
years of waiting for the opportunity, my husband recently announced his
promotion...and our move. To Nashville. Don't misread...I agreed we'd
go, and I'm looking forward to it in so many ways! But...I've lived in
Georgia for almost 35 years. You don't just move to another state
without some trepidation. But this is a great opportunity for our
family--not just him. And apparently, everyone loves Nashville. My
little secret? I just agreed to move to a city I've never even seen.
After nine years of marriage, I'm just going to have to trust that this
is good. I was recently reminded of our marriage vows from Ruth 1:15 and
wrote this post. These are the words that I cling to as we make this big transition.
go.
stay.
people.
God.
Hello, Nashville. Nice to meet you.
